How much is the fine for not renewing my trade license?

The fine is AED 200 per month.

How many partners can I have in my company?
  • LLC – Minimum 2, maximum 50
  • Private Joint-Stock Company – Minimum 3 founders
  • Public Joint-Stock Company – Unlimited partners (shares system)
  • Sole Proprietorship – 1 owner only
  • Civil Works & Partnership Companies – 2 and more partners
What activities can I perform under the General Trading Activity?

You can trade all types of goods, products, and merchandise under the General Trading Activity as stipulated under the Activities Classification Guide. Some trading activities require additional external approvals from Government authorities.

My company is in Dubai. Can my Local Service Agent be from another Emirate?

Yes, your LSA can be from any Emirate.

How many licenses can I own in the UAE?

There is no limit to the number of licenses UAE nationals, residents, and GCC nationals can hold.
